They say one good turn deserves another. Dedeba is gradually
paving her own path in the Ghanaian music industry. Talk about fast
emerging Rap Divas and Dedeba is the name most households would mention.
After
releasing the official female version of Medikal's "Connect" which got
her the admiration of Medikal, she went ahead to drop the first and
official female version of Sarkodie's "Rich Nigga Shit" which she titled
it "Dull Dramatic Thug aka. DDT".
These two
songs are doing very well online and on the streets. She has even
received numerous rotation on various radio stations in Accra and
outside Accra because of the love these songs got from bloggers and fans
online which eventually triggered good responses in the pubs, clubs and
on the street.
Dedeba, aside these records is rocking some
major shows with some A-list artistes in Ghana like MzVee, E.L etc. She
is built to tour with MzVee to Berekum and Sunyani on 18th and 19th November respectively. She is officially on all of E.L's #KokoTour. She is also built to share stage with Shata Wale in Tamale on 1st January,2017 at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
Truth
is Dedeba is just getting started but with the rate at which she is
moving with her creativity and stage craft, she promises to be one of
the forces to reckon with when it comes to female emcees in Ghana and
Africa.
Today she drops her first original
piece she calls "KOTOSA" which means "Go Down and Dance". Kotosa is
radio and club friendly song fit for every occasion.
"Kotosa"
was produced by Ofasco and its a catchy sing-along with dope rap verses.
This banger is a "feel-good" song which makes every listener want to
jump on the dance floor and drop some dance moves.
